Horror in Croatia: Man massacres family of six, then commits suicide
The police in the Croatian capital Zagreb have confirmed in a message early on Friday that the six-time killer from this city had committed suicide.
"During the investigation, the police located him in Brezovica. He committed suicide during the arrest," the police wrote.
The murder of the six victims happened shortly before 9.30 pm on Thursday in a house on Cimermanova Street, in the Kajzerica neighborhood of New Zagreb.
Only a seven-month-old baby, who was not injured, survived. Among those killed were two men, three women, and a 10-year-old child.
This is official information coming from the police, although earlier reports spoke about four children being among the victims.
According to Croatian media, it is believed that the motive for the massacre was jealousy.
