"Help, my wife is having a baby in the car": Salesladies became midwives, and then they cried

The unusual scene happened on Tuesday morning in the village of Voganj near Ruma, when two women, Vlatka Miskovic and Teodora Zeravic, delivered a woman in a car whose husband took her to the delivery room in Sremska Mitrovica.

No one could imagine that an ordinary morning in Srem village would turn in a scene from some movies.

- Around 7:30, a young man entered the shop and he said: "Help, my wife is having a baby in the car". We immediately called for an ambulance - Vlatka said for "Novosti", who didn't even think that the delivery already started. 

When she approached the young lady in the car, the panic started.

- She was sitting in a passenger seat, I asked her how she felt if she had any pain, and I told her not to panic. I was calm until I saw the babies head, which started coming outside - remembers Vlatka.

Vlatka and Teodora first lowered the seat for the girl, they took her underwear and with the "assistance" of her husband Igor, they waited for the baby to come out. 

- We have called neighbors to give us clean towels, so we could warm up the baby. We wrapped her up and the ambulance arrived. When the mother and the baby went to the hospital, we started crying out of joy - remembers Vlatka.

The baby, who hurried to see the world during the drive to the hospital, was born alive and healthy, and the happy father Igor thanked the new "midwives" with a nice bouquet of flowers.
