Genius Vukasin is the national champion in physics and mathematics, without a doubt

Vukasin Babic from Sabac finished the seventh grade of the elementary school "Nikolaj Velimirovic" Summa Cum Laude and with prizes that distinguish him among his peers. 

Boyan is a miracle, he discovered the most important thing in the world: Superhero saving the Earth!

He has won the first place in the state competitions from physics and math with 100 points, second place in the state competition in programming, third place in the Serbian Math Olympiad and the third place in the Serbian Junior Informatics Olympiad.

This little genius seems to be quite an ordinary student: he enjoys socializing, learning and he has a great love.

- It is math! - he answers convincingly, just like when he solves math problems.

The second and third place are for subjects that are different from most of his peers, and those are physics and programming.

That love resulted in many awards. Vukasin is the only student of the seventh grade in Serbia who has awards from two Olympiads - Serbian Math and Serbian Informational Olympiad. His favorite is the third place on the Math Olympiad, which is also qualification for the international competition, where the best eight graders are competing, and several seventh graders. Vukasin was eight in that list, right after the students of the math Gymnasium from Belgrade, who are one year older.

The recognition is even dearer since Sabac didn't have its representative on this competition since 2016, and they have been waiting for an award for the entire decade.

- There are very interesting ways to solve a problem. I am motivated to go to competitions to prove myself how much I know - said this little genius.

And he proves how much he knows while competing with his father Djordje, who is a Doctor of electronics.

- He enjoys working together to solve tasks, and then he compares who solved the result faster and in what way. There are a lot of things which I did a long time ago and I need time to remember, while he enjoys reaching the solution before I do and it is a challenge for him - said Vukasin's father.

The seventh grader has all As and he has a simple recipe for success.

- It is not the point to study right before the competition, but each day during the entire year. This is how you get routine and good habits - said Vukasin.

They go as a family to the competition, as a support, without too much ambition and expectations.

- I think that it is all a set of good circumstances, he has good teachers who motivate him, he is ambitious and he wants to prove to himself how worthy he is. In the end, he has support from his family and we can help him when the help is needed - explains Djordje.

This is how you become the best, and Vukasin has proven that in the competition among his peers from all over Serbia.
