Hvar introduced fines: If you get caught sleeping on a street - 400 euros, drinking alcohol - 700
The city of Hvar introduced the decision about fines which will try to put an end to a problematic behavior of the part of the guests. So, even if you fall asleep on a public surface, you will have a fine of 400 euros.
According to Dalmacija Danas, the city of Hvar introduced a lot of changes when it comes to the behavior of tourists. Hvar was always open towards all of the tourists, but due to the negative behavior with individuals which are degrading the city and its reputation, the local officials decided to "reeducate" the tourists with harsh fines.
For example, if you get caught to sleep on a public surface, you can get a fine of 400 euros.
- Sleeping on the public surface will cost you more than your accommodation - the announcement posted by the city of Hvar.
Walking in a bathing suit on the streets will cost you 500 euros, and drinking of alcohol on public places up to 700 euros.
