Village Sirca near Kraljevo, which was flooded by a 2-meter high torrent, carrying freezers and cars with it, has been struck for the third time by the forces of nature. The village was devastated by an earthquake in 2010, and it was flooded in 2014, and now again.

"Those are crazy Serbs", "Lovely country, but they are like pigs": The entire world laughs at us over the footage of an excavator which is moving debris (VIDEO)

- This was an apocalypse, much worse than in 2014. It has been raining for two hours, and then the stream flooded throughout the village and it became a torrent which carried everything with it. The water reached two meters, it caught cattle and cars. The ice cream freezer was in front of the store and the water carried it 100 meters further. People were running to the attic. Farms are flooded by Morava, the steam has destroyed our houses. Around 100 households and a local school can't use water - said Mladen Vasiljevic, the mayor of the community in the village Sirca.

He explains that the water destroyed the furniture and house appliances in around 40 to 50 houses, 80 of them are cut off from the rest of the world, and yards are flooded in around 150 households, the gardens and greenhouses are destroyed.

Half a meter of water was in people's houses. There is still water in a house of Zoran Veskovic. A river is flowing in his home. He says that he is happy because he survived the night.

- I woke up around 3:40, it was the strongest rainfall at that moment. I ran to take out the pigs and to save what could be saved. Water came abruptly, I didn't have the time to think about what will happen to me if it catches me. It was carrying massive logs from somewhere - said Veskovic.

He no longer has the garden which was one of the most gorgeous in the village, no more corn, clovers, orchard. It is all mud and stone now. He can't take his old mother to the doctors.

Village Sirca is full of debris brought by the water, and there is around half of meter of mud on the streets. Milan Maric said that he will need around 2 months just to clear his yard.

- All the appliances are flooded, as well as the car. A freezer is in my yard which was carried for 100 meters from the shop. The waves were 2 meters tall - said Maric.

There are landfills along the roads. People are carrying shovels or water from a nearby store, the only one they can drink. there are piles of mud where the gardens once stood, plants can't be found anywhere.

Aleksandar Pecarski said that he is fighting with the floods for the third time and he is buying furniture and appliances again and again.

- When I saw that the stream is flooding again, I moved some things around the yard, my legs were wet, up to my knees. I went into the house to change, I didn't realize that the water level is growing and I rushed back outside. The water was up to my waist. I ran to the shed to save some machines and building material, but the water already passed through here. I ran to save some poultry, but the water was already over them. All I could do is to climb back on the road, so I don't risk the water taking me as well - said Pecarski.
