"Grandma Milica (81) remained in the apartment, she can't move": Confession of a neighbor from a burning building (AUDIO)

I was lying in a room and I saw smoke coming toward me. I ran out to the terrace. I live above the neighbors where the fire broke out. It was terrible.

The neighbor told this for Telegraf.rs, she was in shock, she lives in the apartment above the one where a terrible fire started today at 13.45.

As she said, everything happened in a few seconds. Smoke started coming out and they couldn't breathe. 

- I ran out and I rang everybody's door. I came to the apartment 16th floor but no one opened. One woman opened the door on the 15th floor and she immediately called the firefighters - said this woman.

The thing that scares her the most is that an old granny who can't move lived in the apartment which is swallowed by fire. It is Milica who is 81 years old.

- It is an older woman who can barely walk. When I meet her, and when she carries a bag, I take her across the street, she is done for - the neighbor is in shock. 

Another person is stuck in the fire, and the photos show a person poking its head, catching some air.
