"I am an American soldier who follows orders on the field": Haradinaj admitted that he is just following orders
Prime Minister of the so-called Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj, who is currently in the US, reiterated that relations between Kosovo and the US are good and that a 100 percent tax on Serbian and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) goods was introduced "against the interests of Serbia and Russia in the Balkans".
In an interview, Haradinaj said for himself that he was an "American soldier on the field who follows orders", reports Gazzetta Blic.
- Our attitudes are similar to what the United States stands for, and people on the field are aware of that. I am an American soldier on the field - said Haradinaj and he added that it refers to Russia and Serbia.
He also stated that he "only applies the order in relation to the situation on the ground" and believes that "strengthening of Kosovo strengthens the interests of America and removes Russian and other interests".
Haradinaj traveled to the United States on Friday, announcing that he would meet with US officials, Gazzetta Blic said.
Pristina Lajmi has previously reported, citing sources from the Haradinaj Cabinet, that he will not meet with US officials, but with representatives of the Albanian Catholic community.
Haradinaj, due to the introduction of a hundred percent tax on products from Serbia and BiH, has been under United States sanctions since the end of last year, by not being able to obtain a visa.
That is why he wasn't able to attend the traditional Player breakfast in Washington at the beginning of the year, although he was invited.
