President of the Provisional Kosovo Institutions, Hashim Thaci, spoke about events 20 years ago and the beginning of the NATO aggression at the then Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in an interview for Süddeutsche Zeitung. He discovered that the terrorist KLA was informed by the Alliance in advance about the bombing.

We are ready to intervene whenever security is endangered: KFOR spokesman for Telegraf about Thaci threats with the army and the police to Serbia

When asked by German newspapers, does he recall, where he was on March 24, 1999, Thaci said that he was in the mountains, on the border between Albania and Kosovo and Metohija.

- NATO has informed us in advance that the bombing will begin on that day - Thaci said.

He stresses that he will always be grateful to the West for military intervention.

- Without military intervention, Albanians would not exist in Kosovo today. The bombing stopped ethnic cleansing - said Thaci.

When stated that there are still charges against him for war crimes, that there are reports in the Council of Europe accusing him of involvement in the killings and trafficking of organs, Thaci claims that the allegations were constructed in Serbia.

- If they call me for the special court, I will go. It is important for the truth to come to the light - said one of the former leaders of the terrorist Kosovo Liberation Army.

He has mentioned that he directly spoke to president Donald Trump about the agreement with Belgrade.

- His message to both sides is clear: Use the momentum, move forward and don't allow yourself to repeat the tragedies of the past - Thaci mentioned.

He also thinks that Eu was never capable of solving things on its own, that is why the USA help is needed.

Asked about the relationship with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Thaci said that this was a difficult relationship, but that it was necessary to have an open channel of communication.

- Because the dialogue has prevented many bad things which could have happened between our two countries. But, I feel no pleasure in it. We both know where we come from. That is not an obstacle for us to work for peace - Thaci said.
