Djordje Markovic from Cepure, a village near Paracin, is just 16 years old, and he has been caring about his sick father and complete household with his younger sister. He is working on the land, he is going to work.

For the most 16-year-olds, the school is the only thing they have to worry about, but not for Djordje Markovic. When he finishes his classes in the school for mechanical engineering, he comes home where he has a lot of work to do. He says that the day is too short for all of the things that he must do.

- To feed the geese, chickens, rabbits, to change clothes on my father. You have to work - said Djordje.

Djordje likes working on the field, around poultry and rabbits, he doesn't mind blisters on his hands, but his life completely changed three years ago when his father had a stroke. His mother died last year, and his sister and he took over the care of the household and the father.

- We already got used to all of the chores, who else is going to do it but us? - asks Aleksandra.

She adds that a house is in a very poor condition, but the most difficult for her is her father's health state.

- Dad is in very poor health, it would be good if he could go to the spa, to recover - said Aleksandra.

Djordje said that he can't pay for all of the expenses with 20.000 dinars (170 euros). That is why he is working around the village. He went to the Association for neglected and sick children in Paracin, he needs a circular saw for the woods and tractor to work on his fields.

- He didn't ask for any money but for a tractor, so he could work, and to make money from that work - said Elvin Stankovic from the association "Paracin, small city, big heart".

The janitor answered who said that he will replace carpentry around the house. There isn't enough money for the appliances around the house and the special bed for the immovable father.
