With the arrival of the first days that smell of spring, most of us are thinking about where to spend the summer vacation. Some people of Belgrade have no dilemmas. Some of them have been going there for years, even decades, to the muddy pond in Palilula suburb Ovca. 

As soon as we headed to the forest, we have sunk into deep snow. We were stuck so we got the fire going until the help arrived: Drama in Serbian highlands

There is a spa in the capital city, and it is not Visnjicka, it is a muddy, healing pond. You reach the center of Ovca, and you turn left near the church. You take that street of around 500 meters until you find an empty lot. There was a board before which was destroyed by time. Like all of the things around the "spa". There are no trees, most of the benches are broken, as well as showers...

Or perhaps it is not the time, but as some have doubts, the first neighbor, who is bothered by the crowd and the swimmers. According to Dusanka, the unofficial spokesperson of this swimming area. The woman who tries to make it alive again and she worries about it when the new season of swimming is close. And the biggest concern for the swimmers is the source from which the water is no longer flowing. The pipe where the water was coming out is now cemented.

- I didn't see that, if I had some power, I would hold him (the neighbor) responsible. He even cut down his own trees so we don't sit in the shade - she said while she looked at the hole where the water used to flow and she asks if some drill will help there.

- The point is in the mud, the father Pajsije used to say "this is not mud, that is gold". This source deserves to be properly worked on, otherwise, it is a landfill. This is an oasis, our hidden place. Sick, people who can't move, come here with joy. That is why this is a great clime - said Dusanka who thinks that nature will find a way to beat this evil, that the water will find a way through the pool.

There is plastics, bottles, and other things in the water and on the coast. There are pieces of glass. A bit further, in the grass, there is a carcass of a dog. The channel next to it is covered with rubbish, especially plastics.

- Here, while we were coming here, we saw a stork flying away, look at this nature, church, it is heaven - said Dusanka.

Her husband is very sick and they cannot afford to go to the spa Kanjiza twice a year for therapy, so she suggested going to Ovca. He said that he was feeling better.
