Scary game Momo reached Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), and the police invited parents to pay special attention to prevent tragic consequences for children, writes "Srpska info".
A source close to the security agencies stated that several cases were reported on the area of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Republika Srpska, especially among the young.
- Morbid curiosity or the desire to be popular among friends caused a lot of young people to perform tasks where they risk their lives by playing the game Momo - explained the source of "Srpska Info".
Based on the picture of the sculpture of "bird woman" from Japan, demon Momo became like an urban legend on the Internet.
- We have information that Momo is something like the game "Blue whale". So far, there are no serious consequences, and there were cases related to threats and scaring of children, but the safety situation is being monitored when it comes to the violence over the internet - explained the source, adding that there were two cases reported in the area of Sarajevo and Banja Luka.
In the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, they stressed that they were familiar with this game. Psychologists warn that free access to the Internet if children have it, means putting the darkest and most dangerous people into the house.
They said in the ministry of Republika Srpska that they sent an appeal to parents to increase the attention over the children who have access to the internet.
MOMO IS DEAD
The maker of the dangerous game Momo responded yesterday. He said from his "workshop" in Japan that the creepy trend that has started is "dead". Keisuke Aiso said for the magazine TheSun that his dangerous game shouldn't have existed for so long and that it has rotted away. That is why he decided to throw it away.
- Children can be safe, Momo is dead - it doesn't exist and the curse has been lifted - he said.
