According to the Croatian media, large police action is underway in which people suspected of tax evasion around Zagreb are being arrested and brought in.

The action is performed simultaneously, in multiple locations. So far, it is unknown who is suspected, nor how many of them are there, but the sirens could be heard around the city and police cars are patrolling the streets.

Certain parts of the city are under police siege.

As it was confirmed for 24sata.hr. the Office for the Suppression of Corruption and Organized Crime, in cooperation with the Criminal Police, is carrying out a massive campaign against tax evaders.

According to the first information, more than 10 people were arrested.

The search and arrests are happening mostly in Zagreb, and a large number of police administrations have been involved in a massive campaign.
