Currently, the best Serbian basketball player, Nikola Jokic, celebrated his 24th birthday with those who are closest to him in America. Just after the All-Star weekend, where he participated in the game of the greatest NBA stars for the first time in his career, he had another reason to celebrate, because he turned 24.
Jokic was born in Sombor on February 19, 1995, and 24 years later, he celebrated with his brothers, Nemanja and Strahinja, and with his girlfriend Natalija Macesic and her sister.
They made a cake for Jokic with 24 candles and he blew them away. It is interesting that his brother Nemanja, who started MMA career, had a shirt "Kosovo is Serbia", which especially amazed the fans.
Last year, Jokic was criticized by certain fans in Serbia because he didn't play for the national team. That should be different this year since the selector Aleksandar Djordjevic changed the rhetoric and announced that the Ace from Denver could play for Eagles on Mundobasket this year.
There were mentions that Jokic's brothers have great influence on him which caused him to play for Serbia, but the shirt his brother wore shows the best that Jokic family are great patriots.
