In the message of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, states:

This year, since the celebration of the hundred anniversary since the Serbian flag fluttered over the White House, we are starting to ensure that the next century of our partnership is in a similar way dedicated to peace, prosperity, and freedom.
The United States remains unwavering in its support to your commitment to deepen regional co-operation, and in particular to your efforts to normalize relations with Kosovo.
While it is up to the sides to achieve agreement they can both support, we consider that mutual recognition should be a central motive of permanent normalization of relations.
Such a historic agreement, with mutual recognition in its essence, would build the way for the goals of Serbia's Eurointegration and economic growth - said President Trump's congratulations.
