The Croatian Ministry of Defense (MORH) today announced that the 30th Croatian Contingent (HRVCON) was sent to the NATO peacekeeping operation in the US Bondsteel base in Kosovo.

The new Croatian contingent from Knez Trpimir barracks in Divulj near Trogir has been sent to the NATO peacekeeping operation in Kosovo, in which Croatian forces have been participating for the last 10 years, the HINA said.
The departure of the contingent was accompanied by the head of the 93rd Airborne Unit, Colonel Boris Panic, who pointed out that the Croatian Air Force (HRZ) in the mission in Kosovo has been continuously taking part since 2009, and that all 30 missions with the people were attended by the aviation and two helicopters Mi-8 MTV1 / Mi-171Sh.
Commander of the 30th contingent, Stjepan Stepic, said that the soldiers were well prepared, experienced and ready for another mission.
The task of Croatian soldiers in the US Bondsteel base in Ferizaj is the transportation of persons and cargo.
