A terrible crash at the toll booth near Nis: Serbian politician suffered serious injuries, a woman from "Opel" died

A serious traffic accident took place this morning on the highway Nis - Leskovac, near the toll booth Doljevac, when three vehicles collided due to unknown reasons. Five people were injured, two seriously, and three sustained light injuries.

The Director of the Corridor of Serbia Zoran Babic is among the seriously injured people. He suffered a fracture of the thigh bone and he was urgently transported to Belgrade. 

As Telegraf finds out, a wife who wasn't in the vehicle of the Government of Serbia died, who participated in the crash. She was in the back seat of "Opel" and she had a safety belt on.

Five people were placed in the Clinical Center. Their lives are not in danger. 

This is not the first accident at this toll booth. In December 2018, a Greek citizen crashed into the toll booth due to the thick fog.

There has been a chain crash in Simanovci in October 2015 due to the thick fog where one life has been lost. The cause was also thick fog and the high speed of the vehicles.
