"D Day" in Pristina: One phone call and one meeting can decide everything

January 30 could be marked as "D Day" in Pristina for two reasons. After the announcements that the government of so-called Kosovo could "fall", the meeting was scheduled between the representatives of the three parties, Ramush Haradinaj, Kadri Veseli, and Fatmir Limaj. Besides the meeting, which could "determine the fate of the government of so-called Kosovo", according to the media, the "telephone meeting " was scheduled today with John Bolton, the US national security adviser to the US, where Haradinaj will see the dissatisfaction of the USA because they refused to abolish Taxes to the goods from Serbia and Republika Srpska.

Public opposition to the requests of the USA and EU to abolish the taxes to the imported goods from Serbia won't go without consequences for the government of Ramush Haradinaj.

According to the Pristina media, quoting reliable sources, John Bolton, one of Donald Trump's top advisors, will hold a telephone conversation with Haradinaj today to further explain his official request from Washington for a cancellation of a taxes.

The same source explained that the White House is very concerned about the recent attitude of Kosovo Prime minister towards the USA.

Bolton will, according to the same source, will "scold" Haradinaj and will mention that they no longer have the right to mention the USA as the state most deserving for the "Liberation and independence of Kosovo". 

Also, it is expected that Bolton will use that call to repeat the decision of Washington about the measures and sanctions against Pristina, if they don't abolish the taxes and if they don't continue the dialogue with Belgrade, with the aim to accomplish the final agreement which will be in the interest of stability of the entire Balkan.

Besides talking with Bolton, Haradinaj will have a meeting with Kadri Veseli and Fatmir Limaj, which could affect the fate of the government of so-called Kosovo.

The meeting is taking place after the open statements against each other and the refusal of the prime minister of the provisional Kosovo institution to support the proposition of the president of the assembly and the Democratic Party of Kosovo Kadri Veseli to suspend the taxes for 120 days.

Previously, Haradinaj sent a letter to ambassadors of Quinta and head of the EU Office in Pristina, saying he was ready to stop the taxes if the US and the EU initiate and organize an international conference on a comprehensive agreement with Belgrade, which would mean mutual recognition and membership of Kosovo in the UN.
