Serbia has never received such an ultimatum! We reveal the list of Haradinaj's demands for "binding agreement" with Belgrade
Prime Minister of the so-called Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj presented the day before the formation of the "Kosovo Army" on December 13, the first draft of a "comprehensive legally binding agreement between Kosovo and Serbia". Details to this document have not been known to the public so far. Telegraf had an insight into the aforementioned proposal of the agreement, which was, to put it mildly, worse than the ultimatum to the Austro-Hungarian Kingdom of Serbia on the eve of the First World War.
In addition to the previously known attitude that Serbia should recognize the state of Kosovo, Haradinaj also made new demands at a meeting with ambassadors.
- Serbia should pay so-called Kosovo compensation because the Albanians suffered losses due to the fact that they were under sanctions in the period of 1992-1999 due to the bad leadership of Serbia.
- Serbian schools shouldn't be a part of the Serbian educational system, but the Kosovo system, with the possibility of learning in Serbian program, but only after it was accepted by the Kosovo Ministry of education.
- Serbia should enable so-called Kosovo the membership in all international organizations, UN, ENTSO, INTERPOL, UNESCO, and others.
- The property of Serbian Orthodox Church should be Kosovo cultural heritage.
- Serbia should compensate economic losses to Kosovo in the period of 1989-1999.
- Kosovo investigators can conduct investigations in Serbia against members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and Serbian Army "who committed crimes during the war in Kosovo".
This plan of Ramush Haradinah, which was personally composed by Avni Arifi, the advisor and head of his cabinet, who was replaced by Editu Tahiri as the negotiator for technical dialogue, puts Serbia in front of ultimatum.
This proposition remained a secret for a long time and it is clear why the ambassadors didn't want to give any statements after the meeting.
The only trace of this meeting are the photos of Haradinaj which he published on his Facebook profile, with a comment.
Namely, he wrote that the document was handed over to all institutions and representatives of all political subjects and that they will discuss this draft document with all parties in the following days and weeks.
- At the meeting with ambassadors, head of Technical dialogue Avni Arifi presented chapters which will contain the main principles of the agreement for us, which will open the way to normalization between Kosovo and Serbia - Haradinaj wrote on his Facebook account.
As he said, they will discuss with all parties in Kosovo society about the document "in order to achieve a final document that will include the expertise of all".
