Kalashnikovs, drones, pistols: Kosovo police showed weapons and equipment allegedly found with arrested Serbs (PHOTO)
Special Kosovo forces ROSU arrested four Serbs in an action this morning, under suspicion that they are connected with the murder of Oliver Ivanovic.
In a statement, and as reported by the Kosovo media, the police provided details about what was seized in the suspects' homes. According to the official police statement, they will be detained for 48 hours.
According to the list of evidence collected, allegedly seized on the spot, there are:
- Drone with a thermal camera and batteries, manufacturer Rohs, iPhone telephones, "Microsoft" telephones, two mobile Nokia and Samsung telephones, "Lenovo" tablet, two iPad devices SPIDE and Samsung SM-T 280, walkie-talkie with a charger, two military vests, automatic weapons (AK 47) - Kalashnikov, made in Yugoslavia with an empty magazine, four AK-47 boxes with 106 clips and two empty clips, one automatic gun and one revolver, hand grenade M-75, charger with 10 clips for 9 mm, automatic charger for weapons with 26 clips of 7.62mm, three clips 7.62mm, baton, 76 grams of narcotic substances, different documents and two wallets and an ASUS computer - list published by local media.
To recall, four Serbs - Marko Rosic, Nedeljko Spasojevic, Dragisa Markovic and Sasa Curcic were arrested according to the warrant of Special Prosecutor's Office of Kosovo, and they are detained in the prison unit in the southern part of Kosovska Mitrovica.
During the day, they will be brought to the Basic Court in Pristina. They are still searching for Milan Radoicic.
Special prosecutor Sulj Hoxha said that several witnesses have been questioned regarding the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, and that the prosecution filed a request for additional checks on November 20th of the suspects for the murder of Oliver Ivanovic.
- This action was successfully performed, in accordance with the law. There were no injuries during the action. Suspects are now temporarily in police stations. The Special Prosecution has come to the conclusion that new evidence regarding this case can be found with the search warrant, Hoxha said.
According to him, the prosecution has evidence that charges two people for providing assistance in the case of Ivanovic's murder.
- The suspect M.R was not found at the registered address, neither the person with the initials S.A. There are reasonable doubts and evidence for the detention of these persons who helped in the murder of Oliver Ivanovic - he said.
As he said, arrests in the north are not related to the decision of the provisional Kosovo institutions to introduce "reciprocal measures" towards Belgrade.
