The protocol of the French president placed the president of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic outside of the official stand on mark the 100th anniversary of the ceasefire in the First World War on November 11, 2018, setting him off the range of television cameras, which is unacceptable failure, since Serbia lost "1.2 million of its children", writes "Figaro".

Kolinda met with numerous world leaders in Paris, and she conveyed greetings to Putin from her daughter

A senior member of the Elysian Palace protocol, in charge of placing the officials at the honorary stands, stated for the Paris newspaper: "We messed up".

Representatives of the countries of the allied countries from the World War I were around president Macron - Russia, USA, Italy, and Romania, but also the presidents of Bulgaria, and Turkey, as well as the Chancellor of Germany, who were the enemies 100 years ago, and during that time, one man, although he is very tall (Vucic), was placed so low on the opposite stands, among the low rank ministers, diplomats and other officials.

Although the French ambassador to Serbia, Frederik Mondoloni, apologized on behalf of Paris on Monday, there were no reactions in Belgrade.

The monument of gratitude to France in Belgrade has just been restored - it was vandalized, and there were demands to rename the Paris and French Street, the newspaper states.

"Figaro" points out that Macron will come to Belgrade on December 6th, and Vucic promised a grand welcome and said that Serbia will not "mess up" when it comes to marking the historic friendship between two countries, which is based on joint spilled blood.
