This is the only rotating house in Republika Srpska and the owner got the idea for it in Belgrade (VIDEO)

Vojin Kusic (69), an entrepreneur from Srpac, designed many plastic items but this year he did his favorite project according to the idea from his younger days - he created a rotating house, the only one in Republika Srpska, and most probably the only one in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The idea about the rotating house was born almost half a century ago, at the train station in Belgrade, while Bojin was watching turntable for trains.

CIRCULAR TRACK

He employes 39 workers in his company and he also included his children, daughters Snezana and Natasa, and his son Vitomir.

- When I saw that the children are taking over the production, I started realizing my idea from younger days. I started gathering materials for the rotating house. I had my own project in my head, without the help of the architects, and the location that I chose is 200 meters away from the family home - Vojin said.

The children discouraged him from this idea, but when they saw that he was persistent and started digging the ground for the foundation, they themselves joined the action.

- I made a hexagon foundation, and I placed 12 rollers from an old military vehicle, each of them can carry 5 tons. I've set a circular track on the rollers and I connected everything with the powerful engine and a reducer. I've placed a ground floor from light materials, like sheets, with stone wool in it, and then I covered everything with lightweight Chinese style roof - Kusic explains.

PRAISES 

The rotation can be adjusted to turn once every 24 hours, and it can be turned very fast, with the turn lasting two and a half minute. Everybody is amazed by his project and the house has been receiving praise. He is overjoyed because he managed to make his favorite idea come true.

- As much as I know, I am the only one in Bosnia and Herzegovina with an invention like this. Is there anything better than watching the sunrise and sunset from your own house, the panorama of Srpac and the environment, the river Sava, the villages around - Kusic said.

FRIENDS TESTING 

He told us the funny story of when he brought his friends to test the house.

- There were around 15 of us, sitting the in saloon, and I turned off the rotor, and one of my friends started saying that something is wrong with his head because everything is turning around the house, and the other one kept calming him down saying that everything is alright with his head, but he is not sure that it is the case with my head - Vojin said while laughing.
