The rain that was falling in the evening in Zlatar area turned to snow around 21 PM, and the tallest top of the mountain Golo Brdo, which is at 1.627 meters above sea level, became completely white.
Snow was falling the in the very heart of the tourist zone Zlatar, near Babic hill, where hotels are located, reports Indexonline portal.
The snow is wet and it sticks to the roads, so the drivers who are headed over the mountain are advised caution.
The sights recorded on Web cameras from Kopaonik made a lot of skiers and mountain lovers happy.
The date itself of the first snow covers a wide range ever since there were measuring records on Kopaonik. It was recorded from the beginning of September to the end of November, the portal states.
Last year it was on September 22nd, the year before on October 5th, and before that on September 23rd. In the average, the first snow falls somewhere between 10th and 15th October, so this snow was a bit late.
