Nemanja graduated from two faculties at the age of 23, he sat down in Nikola Tesla's lap and celebrated: This nice boy is perhaps the successor of a great scientist (PHOTO) (VIDEO)
It is most important to have a plan in your life. Or two. And a plan after that plan. And a plan how to celebrate when you have accomplished everything that you have planned. It sounds complicated? Not for Nemanja Aksic. He enrolled into two faculties at the age of 19. He also graduated from both in just a few days, at the age of 23. His average mark at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering was 9.04 and on Faculty of Chemistry 9.17. Should we mention that both faculties are among the hardest ones?

I am not sure if anyone who answered the phone had a bigger smile than him. This young man from Bor was ready for cooperation. He accepts congratulations in a second and he agrees with the interview. He got my attention with his undeniable intelligence and the photo that was taken after graduation.
With two theses in his hand, he sat down in the Nikola Tesla lap, satisfied and with a great smile, and he took the picture. His proud brother Vladimir shared this on his facebook, with the comment: "My crazy brother graduated from two faculties".
There was everything in one single photo: hard work, effort, renunciation, and everything else that is not the faculty. When I asked him if he planned to take that picture, or was it spontaneous, he said:
- Honestly, I planned it. Everything is clear. We know what Nikola Tesla did for science and mankind, we know that his main rival was Edison, so it was an honor to be in his lap.
He is telling me this from that same lap, the monument which has been offering support to all of the students of Faculty of Electrical Engineering. It was the same with Nemanja.
And now, when he has his degree, the feeling is complete.
- I feel wonderful, after four years of hard work. I hope that everything will pay off. It wasn't hard for me to endure since I have a great love for science and the areas I was studying, and I had a strong will. You can't do anything without it - he said.
Although I wanted to ask him where did he get the idea to go to two completely different faculties, I now have my doubts since everything is easy for him. As if he is reading my mind, Nemanja said:
- Electrical Engineering and Chemistry are a strange combination, but I completed a course on engineering for biomedical engineering and my interest shifted to biomaterials, so, however, there is some connection between these two faculties.
While Nemanja's colleagues struggle to finish one faculty, with whatever marks, this young man didn't make any breaks and he went for master studies.
- That is my plan for the future. Last week, I enrolled in Master Studies at the Faculty of Chemistry and I plan to be here in Serbia for at least one more year, and then I will see. If I get a job in Serbia, I will stay. If not, I plan to continue my Ph.D. studies abroad - Nemanja concludes.
I left him to sit in Tesla's lap a bit longer and while I watch him - I realize that everything is easy if you know what you want and if you want it really much.
