UEFA has officially launched an investigation against Red Star due to suspicion of match-fixing with PSG!
UEFA has launched an investigation against Red Star regarding the "match-fixing" affair, which was initiated by the French newspaper L'Equipe, Telegraf finds out.
French newspaper caused an earthquake in European football when they published an information that there is a suspicion that the match between Red and Whites and PSG in Paris was fixed, and that there has been an attempt to bet 5 million euros on PSG win with at least 5 goals of difference.
Red Star was defeated with 6:1, and few days after the game there was a great storm after the publification of the text of the French newspaper, where there was a statement that there are suspicions about the regularity of the match and that UEFA is informed about the entire process.
So far no one responded from the European house of football on this subject, but Telegraf found out that the letter and a written confirmation arrived at the address of Red Star from UEFA that the investigation will be launched and we could see a Champions League group with only three participants.
UEFA WILL REACH A DECISION ON THURSDAY ON RIOTS ON THE PSG - RED STAR MATCH
European House of Football already started an investigation regarding the match on Park of Princes, due to the riots where Red Star and PSG fans participated in a clash in front of the stadium when the match was finished.
The investigation was launched against PSG and Red Star.
