A mole-man has been discovered: Serb robbed houses and jewelry shops by digging tunnels (VIDEO)
Italian police arrested Sladjan Stojanovic (40) and two other Italian citizens due to a suspicion that they robbed luxurious houses, boutiques, and jewelry shops in Milan in the past year, by drilling holes and tunnels underground, through which they entered, avoiding an alarm in this way.
Italian media and investigators named this criminal group "Hole Gang", since they managed to enter the jewelry shop in the night between 2nd and 3rd October, Via Paolo Sarpi, in the Chinese town in Milan, and they managed to take away more than 40.000 euros.
The three of them made a precise hole with a pneumatic hammer on the ceiling of the store above which the targeted jewelry store was located.
When the time was right, the three-member Serbian-Italian group entered the store with no problem, avoiding the alarm, according to Italian Media.
Although the police were already at their tail, the three of them managed to get away with the 40.000 euros worth of spoils.
The data from the investigation show that Stojanovic is suspected of committing more robberies in 2017, entering through manholes and basements and digging holes. The media say that this trio even dug a tunnel once and that they took 120,000 euros from the robbery of a boutique of exclusive clothing.
Italian police identified the "Hole Gang" thanks to footage from security cameras mounted around a jewelry store in China town. Following their movement and mutual interaction, the police arrested them while attempting another theft in the city center.
