Students from Vranje dominated in Russia: They returned from Bios Olympiad with four medals
All four students of the Bora Stankovic Gymnasium from Vranje returned from this year's Bios Olympiad, held in Russia, to their home city, with medals.
Emilija Petkovic and Dusan Ristic, students of the third grade, competed in the field of biology and won the 3rd and 1st place. Aleksa Zdravkovic and Bogdan Stevanovic, students of the fourth grade, competed in the field of chemistry, both winning the 3rd place.
The program of the Olympics lasted for three days, and the young talents of Serbia made this country proud.
Suzana Misic Stankovic, principal of the Vranje high school, said that the students brought beautiful impressions from St. Petersburg, where the Bios Olympiad was held.
- This year's competitors are determined to strengthen the research spirit and they already have ideas for the next venture in a similar competition. The research spirit and desire to enter deep into the world of scientific research have encouraged these young people to work hard and give their contribution to science. They will certainly have a lot of projects in their future - adds Misic Stankovic.
