- I have found a brother of the dead worker. As he said, he was five meters from the accident. The wall started collapsing and the worker tried to push it away with his hands. Brothers are from Kraljevo, they have no family, they rent an apartment in Mali Mokri Lug. The worker I talked to was calm, and he said that his brother survived Kosare and that there were a lot of tragedies in their family - the woman said.
As we found out, the collapsed was belongs to an object which is being constructed at the place of the former American embassy.
The street that connects Knez Milos with Sarajevo street is currently closed for traffic while the emergency response crews are at the scene, our reporter investigates. Firefighters, ambulance, and police are on the scene, and a large amount of earth is on the construction site.
Right before the wall collapsed, there was a preparation of the ground for the digging of the foundation and rough works were being done, only large reinforced walls that used to make the building of the embassy can be seen now.
The construction site is properly enclosed, and the contractor is Energogroup.
