British girls discovered a dark side of spending a vacation in Croatia: They've tried kidnapping us, they were touching us and a policeman tried hitting on me (VIDEO)

It is well known that young Britons are coming to Croatian coastline searching for good entertainment over the summer. One of the locations where they go is Novalja, which has a popular beach Zrce.

Young girls from Great Britain spoke in front of the cameras of Index.hr about Croatian men. A group of girls said that they were almost kidnapped when they first came to that place.

Men also whistled after them, they are touching them on the streets and have rude comments.

Those are not just Croats, of course. They revealed that they experienced unpleasant situations in clubs and on the streets by foreigners and Croats equally. 

- A police officer was hitting on us, he was waving with his handcuffs at them - two young Britons said who came to Novalja to eat something before going to a party in Zrce.

- We just laughed - they added with a smile.

However, another group of girls told us that they had a more traumatic experience.

- We were almost kidnapped the first time we arrived here. In a taxi. He brought us to some house instead of our apartment. It was too long for us to wait for the bus so we took a taxi that drove us to some street with seven men. We were screaming, it was horrible. We ran out of the car and we escaped - she said.

When asked if they went to the police, they said: "No, we didn't do anything about it".

- They are saying various things and they touch us while we are passing along. It is creepy - young British girls described how they feel while walking on the streets of Novalja.
