A day of mourning in Croatia for the death of a famous singer, Oliver Dragojevic
While the citizens of Croatia are saying their final farewell to the popular singer Oliver Dragojevic, the authorities decided to proclaim July 31 the national mourning day.
This decision was announced by the Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic on Twitter.

- I held a telephone session of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and I proposed the adoption of the Decree on Proclaiming the July 31st, 2018 as a day of mourning for the death of Oliver Dragojevic, which was supported by all members of the Government - he wrote in his tweet.
People of Croatia were struck by the news of the death of the singer Oliver Dragojevic who died a year after he was diagnosed with lung cancer.
The last farewell will be held today from Split seaside, and the funeral will be on Wednesday in his birthplace Korcula.
