People of Belgrade broke a record: In less than 24 hours more than 1.500 called for an Ambulance
Two traffic accidents were recorded and three people were injured in Belgrade during the previous night, and the associate for communication of the Emergency services, Mirko Lutovac, noted the data that the emergency room received 1.682 different calls in the previous 24 hours.
He told Tanjug that the first traffic accident happened at 19:50 in the Cara Dusana Street in Zemun, towards Pupin's Bridge, and two people were injured and taken to Clinical Hospital Center Zemun.
In another accident that took place at 22:05 hours in Tosin Bunar street, a man aged around 43 was injured. They took care of him on the spot and he wasn't taken to the medical facility.
He said that Emergency Services had a total of 108 interventions last night, of which 27 were in public places.
He also said that there were a lot of patients with asthma and patients with high blood pressure.
On the previous day, emergency assistance had 143 interventions, of which 54 were in public places, with 10 traffic accidents.
