Red Star was lucky in the draw - against Legia or Spartak for the playoffs!

FC Red Star found out the name of a potential rival in the third round of qualifications for the Champions league!

If they win against Suduva from Lithuania in the second round, Red and Whites could play against the better team from a duel Legia (Poland) / Spartak (Slovakia).

The first match is scheduled for August 7 or 8 on Marakana, and the rematch will be played seven days later.

Red Star was lucky for avoiding Salzburg and Ludogorec, but Legia is not the weakest team from the privileged group.

However, the Polish champion is currently in poor shape. They were defeated during the weekend by Zaglebie with the score 3:1.

Red Star got the name of another potential rival if they drop out by Suduva.

Red and Whites were in the privileged part of the draw and they got the better team from the duel Spartaks/La Fiorita for the qualifications of Europa League.

Which means that Red and Whites could play against the team they knocked out in the first round of qualifications for Champions league.

Let's recall, the potential rivals were: New Saints/Lincoln, Torpedo/Vikigur, APOEL/Flora Talin and Cork City.
