Father and a daughter were killed by electricity in a barn with cows: Older son prevented a greater tragedy and saved other members of the family (PHOTO) (VIDEO)

Jovana Asanovic (15) from the village Pridvorica near Bojnik, and her father Srdjan Asanovic (47) died in the emergency room of the General hospital in Leskovac from the effects of electric shock. According to the family members, they were killed by the device used for milking cows, in a barn where the drama happened. One of the family members remained calm and he prevented even greater tragedy.

- My sister plugged in a cable, and then she grabbed the pump and she was shocked by electricity. Father was right above the barn, preparing the hay, he heard a scream and he went inside. He grabbed the same cable to free the sister from it, but he died too - the oldest son Nikola said, who lost his father and sister in a single day.

He explained how their father died.

- Father saw that electricity is shaking Jovana. He wanted to save her, so he grabbed the cable with his hands to take the power out. However, ass soon as he touched it, he was electrocuted and he just fell next to Jovana - said Nikola for the Informer.

At that moment, other members of the family rushed into the barn and they headed to the bodies of Srdjan and Jovana who were lying on the floor between cows. Luckily, Nikola was calm and he stopped the mother and another sister from approaching the victims until he turned off the electricity.

- While I ran to the electrical switch, I didn't know if they were dead. I thought that I will faint. I returned and I turned my father and my sister on their backs. I massaged them, I gave them CPR, but there was no help. I felt that there was no pulse. Then I called an ambulance. I was trying to calm down the family - this young man said.
