The journalists of Euronews created a phenomenal reportage on Belgrade and reminded us of everything that is beautiful in it (VIDEO)
The editorial staff of "Euronews" made a reportage on Belgrade in the English language, presenting it as a gateway between east and west, a place where contrasts meet.
They pointed out that Belgrade is one of the oldest cities in Europe with more than 1.5 million inhabitants, connecting the past and the future.
- The Sava River flows into the Danube near Belgrade - the journalists say.
They highlighted the magical effect our city has on tourists who can dive into the past by visiting Kalemegdan fortress.
- You have a Roman part of the wall there, Medieval part of the wall, and part from the Austro-Hungarian times - they explain.
The church Ruzica left a great impression on Euronews journalists, where chandeliers were made out of weapons and as such, they warn that war mustn't happen again.
On the other hand, the modern part of Belgrade is reflected in the Museum of Contemporary Art, the building of specific appearance and even more specific interior and content.
