Serbia is expecting a hot summer, and tropical temperatures will occasionally be interrupted by storms with thunders. The temperatures will rise up to 40 degrees C, and we can expect fires and floods. We feared that this might happen, considering that a heat wave came in the middle of April and we had to switch to summer clothes as if it was July.

Snow in May on Balkans: Blizzard in Dalmatia, Biokovo also became white, the neighbors are freezing on 0 degrees

- The tropical wave will start at the end of June, and it will last to the end of August, just like the last summer, but there will be occasional breaks. We can expect in June a wave of rain and a wave or sunshine, a wave of thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon hours. Thunderstorms with hail will cause significant damage, especially in the west and south Serbia - Djuric said.

DOCTOR'S ADVICE

The human body reacts much more to the moisture in the air at high temperatures than in dry weather because of the high concentration of allergens in the soil.

Therefore, chronic patients should follow the forecast and take their therapy.

The body feels what is best for it and we should act accordingly and do what we enjoy the most at the given moment.

We should avoid overeating, alcohol as well, and it is important to take water as much as possible during the hot summer days.

Use the sunscreen, and the towel is mandatory during the hottest parts of the day or a hat, and when you go to the swimming pool or any swimming area, don't jump suddenly into the water.

These are first long-term forecasts, everything is subject to change in the coming period.
