Russian special services, on the eve of the Victory Day over fascism, arrested groups of terrorists who were preparing terrorist attacks on the march of the Immortal Regiment in Moscow, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov said today.

- Several groups that were preparing explosions during the March of the Immortal Regiment in Moscow were arrested. They prepared weapons in advance - he told Tas, adding that these groups came from Siberia, from Novy Urengoy.

According to him, 17 facilities were searched and 20 suspects were arrested.

- We eliminated 26 terrorists from April 21 to 24 - Syromolotov said.

He recalled that the Russian special services in 2017 investigated the activities of the group in St. Petersburg, which planned a terrorist attack on the march of the Immortal Regiment.
