The parade marking the anniversary of the great Russian victory in their homeland war is being held today in Moscow, and the Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic is attending it at the invitation of the Russian president.

Only the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is attending the Moscow's Parade at the Red Square beside Vucic from foreign statesmen. Serbian president sat right next to the Russian president during the parade.

13.000 soldiers marched on the Central Moscow Square, with more than 150 pieces of modern weaponry and military technology, accompanied by 75 aircraft and helicopters

33 companies of soldiers marched this year on Red Square and the military parade was led by the tank T 34-85, the main Soviet tank in the World War II.

Serbian president laid wreaths with his Russian colleague at the monument of the Unknown hero, and also a flower on the memorial plaque of the hero cities

Also, the Serbian President will attend the reception in the great Kremlin castle.

President Vucic announced yesterday in the statement for journalists that he is invited by the president Putin to participate in the traditional walk on the occasion of the anniverwsary of Victory over fashism "Immortal regiment". 

Vucic said that it is a great honor for Serbia for its president to participate in the Military parade which is held traditionally on the Victory Day over Fascism in World War II.

He will carry, in the walk "Immortal regiment", the photo of his grandfather Andjelko Vucic, who was murdered by Ustashas.

- My parents found a photo of my later grandfather who was murdered by Ustashas, so I will go besides the president Putin to show that we want to preserve the memory to those who died from Fascism in those hard times with the desire never to repeat that - Vucic said.

The walk of the "Immortal Regiment" is part of the celebration of the Victory Day, and during the event, the citizens of Russia are walking with portraits of their relatives who took part in the Great Patriotic War in Moscow.
