Croatia will no longer recognize diplomas from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Dean of the Higher School of Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Management "Nikola Subic Zrinski" from Zagreb, Ivica Katavic, told Glas Slavonije that "there are great indications that the diplomas gained in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) will no longer be nostrificated in Croatia."
Croats fined the fishermen from Slovenia: They sent a penalty of unbelievable 28,000 euros
Katanic says that the diplomas obtained in Serbia and BiH do not meet the required criteria, and the paper received confirmation from the Croatian Agency for Science and Higher Education.
"Glas Slavonije" states that these claims "will worry a lot of Croatian students who are studying in mentioned countries, and people from Slavonia are certainly leading in numbers".
They explain from the Agency for Higher Education that "recognition of foreign higher education qualifications in Europe and EU member states are being implemented according to the so-called Lisbon Convention".
- In the case of the criterion of accreditation of foreign higher education institution, the credibility of the competent accreditation body is important, that is, that it has undergone relevant international evaluation, which, unfortunately, has recently not been the case with any competent agency for external quality assurance in higher education in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia - they said in the Croatian Agency for Science and Higher Education.
