Possible terrorist attacks in Kosovo, you are traveling at your own risk! Warning from America before Easter

According to the website of the USA embassy in Pristina, American citizens should be careful during events related to the celebration of Orthodox and Catholic Easter.

The embassy warns that extremists continue to focus on tourist sites, shopping centers, bars, religious sites and other "easy" targets. The vulnerability of Orthodox and Catholic shrines is especially emphasized.

Caution on the mentioned places is particularly important, stated in the warning.

Americans who are going to Kosovo or who are already there are advised not to expose themselves in public and not to draw attention, to change their routine in order to become unpredictable for criminals and terrorist and to pay attention to the exits when they are in a public place in the case of danger and for safety.

They are advised to avoid public gatherings and demonstrations, to be cautious at tourist locations and to follow local media and to follow the instructions of the US Embassy or the nearest consulate.

The warning was issued on Wednesday, two days after the event on Kosovo where the head Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric was arrested in Kosovska Mitrovica.

Djuric was arrested by Kosovo police and then "deported" to Belgrade on Monday afternoon, and more than 30 Serbs who were present in the action were injured.
