Grandma Stana Srdic from Banja Luka is the proof that the old age is not the obstacle to the reading of good books or doing some handicrafts, she is 101 years old, she reads, crochets, and knits, and as she says, she can't wait for better weather so she can walk around her yard.

Grandma Stana never went to school, and she learned letters along the way, while she was doing the most difficult agricultural tasks. She read when she had the time when there wasn't much plowing, digging, chopping wood...
She almost can't move, but she has a perfect vision, so she spends her days knitting, reports Radio Slobodna Evropa.
She has 9 children, 19 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren, but no one of the female descendants is skilled in handwork like she is.
Daughter Draginja (74) is staying with her mother the most and as she said, she has to help as much as she can.
