Dalibor didn't want to kill himself, the device exploded by accident: Unexpected twist in the case of thrown bomb at the embassy of USA

Montenegrin police announced that Dalibor Jaukovic, who threw a bomb on the US embassy yesterday, that he didn't blow himself up after that, but the bomb was activated by accident.

According to the latest data reported by the Podgorica media, officials of the Security Center Podgorica are searching several locations of people connected with Jaukovic. As told to "Vijesti", police searched these locations in order to clarify all the circumstances of this case.

The US Embassy announced last night that there are no indications that the attack is part of an extended threat, and that the investigation of the alleged motive of the attacker continues.

The police after the investigation announced that Jaukovic didn't blow himself up with a bomb on purpose, but it is presumed that the device was activated by accident.

During the search of Jaukovic's apartment, the police found a letter written in six pages ba hand.

It the letter Dalibor, who lived with his mother and brother, asks the family and relatives "to forgive him for what he is about to do", he describes his personal and political attitudes, Pobjeda writes.

To recall, Jaukovic threw a bomb in the night between Wednesday and Thursday at the US Embassy in Podgorica and then blew himself up with another one, reported by media and police. His identity was quickly determined, as well as that he was born in Kraljevo and that he received a medal for merits in the Yugoslav National Army in 1999 from Slobodan Milosevic.
