The Prosecutor's Office has initiated a proceeding against a false healer for the deception of seriously sick people!

The first Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade has launched a pre-trial procedure against the false healer Alen Azaric, Telegraf finds out.

The prosecution has told our portal that the pre-trial procedure was launched against him on 10th January 2018, and it will be supplemented with the with the data related to Azaric's yesterday's appearance on the Pink television when our reputable surgeon Moma Jakovljevic left the studio.

- Following a notification, this prosecutor's office sent a request on January 10, 2018, for collecting the necessary information to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia. In light of the new events that occurred yesterday, we immediately sent a letter to Pink TV to send us a recording of that show from yesterday which will be also delivered according to the request to the police, to interrogate the person who was in the show - the first Basic Public Prosecutor's Office said to Telegraf.

According to the Prosecution, the criminal case is part of the Criminal Code 254 od Criminal law, referring to the quackery and charlatanism, and this offense is prosecuted ex officio.

- Whoever is doing medicine without proper medical equipment or provides other medical services will be punished with a fine or imprisonment up to three years, and the same punishment goes for those who makes or sells medications without proper training - stated by the prosecution.

As for diplomas he said that he has - he says he graduated from the US Faculty of Natural Medicine and Phytotherapy in Zagreb, they are under the authority of the Ministry of Education.

We were told in this ministry, however, that they will check every report that arrives from the inspection, but that the faculty listed in Azaric's official biography can't be checked because it is not the part of our educational system.

- The ministry will check every report that is addressed to the inspection, in accordance with the law. Taking into consideration that it is written in his public biography that he has the title of "Doctor of Alternative medicine at the American Faculty of Natural Medicine", he is not a part of any educational system of Serbia. If we get any opposite information, we will take measures from the jurisdiction - the Ministry of Education said to Telegraf.

Azaric was a guest in Morning program of TV Pink yesterday where he said that he had more than 53.000 patients and that he cured several thousands of them. Our renowned surgeon Moma Jakovljevic, who said Azaric to his face that he is a charlatan, has left the studio.
