Aleksandar Simic, Dutch with Serbian origin has spread the flag in front of the Hague Tribunal, waiting for the verdict on General Ratko Mladic, and he caused anger of the members of the association from Bosnia and Herzegovina. He said that he had the need to show that there is the other side, that both people had victims and that Serbs can't be the only ones to blame.

It wasn't my intention to provoke anyone, but when I saw the signs that Mladic was a war criminal and responsible for genocide, I couldn't take it anymore - said Simic (22).

He lives in Rotterdam, where he studies marketing and communications, and he came to Hague hoping that he will enter the courtroom and that he will perhaps meet general Mladic.

- They wouldn't let me in, so I stayed outside to wait for the verdict - said Simic for "Vecernje novosti".

He said that he heard a lot on general Mladic from numerous family members who escaped Bosnia and Herzegovina to Loznica.

- If the general weren't there, they wouldn't be here now. That is why this verdict is a black day for Serbs - Simic said.

The president of the association "Women - the victim of war" Bakira Hasecic tried to take away the flag, but he didn't let go.

The situation was calmed down by a police officer, who asked Aleksandar to move away, fearing for his safety and possible lynch, because he was a single individual who came to support Mladic, writes the papers.

The first instance court of the Hague Tribunal sentenced the former Staff Commander General Ratko Mladic of Republika Srpska to life imprisonment.
