The apartments in Sarajevo are on fire: People are trapped in the building, firefighters are going to them. There are children among the injured!

Several apartments are on fire in Sarajevo suburb Alipasino Polje in Ante Babic street. 19 people have been injured due to carbon monoxide inhaling and burns. 11 police officers, 7 tenants of which 3 are children and one firefighter.

- Medical help has been provided to the injured in the Clinical Center of the University in Sarajevo, three persons were detained for further treatment - the Operative center of Ministry of Internal affairs of Sarajevo county.

The fire has spread to several apartments. 

A fire broke out in the apartment located on the fourth floor, owned by M. R. The members of the police evacuated the tenants and 11 police officers were injured during the process.

The fire was localized in 20:00h and the members of the police and court expert are conducting the investigation. The Prosecutor's Office of the Sarajevo Canton was informed about this event.

The members of the Civil protection of the Novi Grad municipality were on the scene, together with the workers of Power Distribution Company and Heating Plant, next to the members of the police and professional fire brigade.
