18 hours of drama for Serbian alpinists: 19 people got lost in Sar mountain, Macedonian colleagues saved them in the last moment! (VIDEO)

Macedonian mountaineers rescued 19 colleagues from Serbia today who were lost on Sar Mountain.

At the moment when they got lost, they started climbing the top Ljuboten. The weather was terrible, and the mountain surrounded by fog, so the Serbian mountaineers started walking away from the drawn path and they got lost.

As reported by Macedonian media, Serbian mountaineers wondered for more than 18 hours in dense fog and in very bad weather conditions. 

Macedonian mountaineers started searching after them and they found them after 5 hours of search.

The hours were passing by and there was no sight of Serbian mountaineers. They were found around 23:30 and all of them together returned to the mountain home.

When they were discovered, the alpinists were exhausted and scared, and they said to the Macedonian colleagues that they saved them in the last moment. They added that they would never make it on their own.
