Obscene bachelor and bachelorette parties in luxurious villas on Adriatic coast: The owners have new business and make up to 1.600 euros per month!

Lately, there is a new trend in Croatia. Namely, more and more young people, both men and women, organize their bachelor and bachelorette parties in luxury villas. Smaller companies also spend their days here and they organize the gatherings for their employees here.

These parties became the main source of income for owners of luxury homes outside the summer season. The price is not negligible, to rent a house for 24 hours is from 260 to 460 euros, depending on the equipment and capacity.

In agencies who work between the owner of the house and the people who want to rent it say that people mostly come to an agreement with the owners of the house directly if they want to rent the entire house for a day and they agree on the price and rules on conduct, writes Slobodna Dalmacija.

Around 10-15 people gather in the villas like that, those are cheerful guys or girls, and they rent it from Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon. They drunk, eat, hang out and have fun during that time.

- The price of the house was 400 euros, and around 15 people could sleep over easily. The house has a swimming pool, a pool, barbeque, it is nicely decorated and we were pleased. 

We barely found it because they were all occupied or reserved for similar celebrations. Now they make all kinds of parties in those pretty houses around Sinj, Dugopolje, Imotsko, where there are no tourists in the winters so the owners rent them for these kinds of parties - said the young woman who stayed recently in a house in Brocanac.

Care about the furniture 

The owner has warned them about the furniture and the equipment in the house, they will have to pay if they damage something, and they went out of the house on Saturday afternoon and they paid 400 euros. Some owners even ask for money in advance in the case of some damage.

It is similar in the houses in Gornja Podstrana, Rogoznica, Bisak, Neoric, Imotska Krajina... All of them are booked for weeks ahead for future brides and grooms and their parties, so the owner can make up to 1.300 to 1.600 euros every month during winter just from that. 

Namely, there are a lot of weddings organized in the wide area around Split, Zadar and Dubrovnik area and there are large halls for weddings, part of the guest doesn't want to drive back to the city, so they rent the apartments in Dugopolje, Dicam, Imotsko, where they sleep over and start their road back home in the morning, feeling sober and fresh.

The apartments for four persons can be rented for 30 to 40 euros. And the number of houses in Dugopolj is 20, Klis 45, Dicam 18, and there are over 100 in Imotska Krajina.

This kind of tourist activity functions very well in Dugopolj where most of the apartments are stationed because the guests find the neighboring Split too expensive. Or they just want to stay in the rural area. 

Dugopolje had 35 thousand guests this year with hundreds of nights, so the local owners are happy both with summer and with winter visits - reports Slobodna Dalmacija from Tourism organization Dugopolje.
