Melania Trump hits back: She responded after the insulting billboard and she gave them the deadline of 24 hours!
The American Institute in Zagreb began to advertise using the photograph of the US First Lady Melania Trump on their billboards, with an extremely ambiguous and even, offensive message. As expected, such a move could not have gone without the reaction of the first lady of the United States.
"Just imagine how far you can go with a little bit of English", is on the billboard which appeared on Zagreb streets.
Melania reacted because of this and asked to remove them within 24 hours, as RTL finds out.
- The company that did this marketing campaign is not familiar with Croatian regulations, the law on obligatory relations and the Croatian advertising code and they are clear that no one can misuse the face, photo of some individual for marketing unless they have the permission of the individual - said Natasa Pirc-Musar, the lawyer of Melania Trump.
The news about the poster has been reported by various world media and it caused a lot of comments, even turbulent reactions.
- She is suitable for provocation, to attract attention, but one should bear in mind that the message insults and disrespects her image she has been building with hard work in American public - said the PR expert, Bozo Skoko.
The Facebook post on the American Institute in Zagreb page has been removed and it is no longer available. Have they already began with removing it?
