Report of the lawyer of accused Serbs on Zakynthos: The boys go to school in prison and they talk with their families every day (PHOTO)
Defense attorney Zora Dobricanin Nikodinovic has visited the Serbian young men with her Greek colleagues who are working with her on the case, in Avlon where prison for younger adults is located. Young adults are detained there - Milos Ilic, Nemanja Petrovic, and Stefan Stojanovic, who are suspected of the murder of US student Bakari Henderson (23).
The well-known Athenian lawyer, Aleksios Kougias was with Dobricanin for the first time yesterday, who joined the case, along with two other lawyers from Belgrade and Zakynthos.
- The conditions in Avlon are good, the staff treats them alright. They go to school and the time passes faster for them. They have the right on the phone boot to talk to their parents every day - reveals Dobricanin.
In addition to the three mentioned, the suspects in this case are also Dusan Rankovic and Milos Senic. They are in other prisons in Greece. All suspects have been detained until the start of the trial, which according to Greek laws can last up to 18 months.
The other two Serbian citizens, who are also suspects in this case, were released to defend themselves from freedom.
Young people are accused of committing murder in the night between July 7 and 8 when a student Bakari Henderson (23) was beaten to death in club "Bar Code" in Laganas.
The trial for this case will be held in the Greek city Partas.
