Beware: An orange meteoalarm is in effect in Serbia
The Republic Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ) issued a warning that bad weather conditions can occur today afternoon, in the evening and during the night, and they are expected tomorrow as well, and the orange meteoalarm is in effect in the most parts of the country, which means dangerous weather conditions.
- The local weather events are expected to be short-lived today and tomorrow afternoon (September 1st and 2nd), evening and night, in the form of more intense rains with thunder, hail, strong and stormy winds, more frequent on Saturday, especially in the north and west of the country - According to the RHMZ warning that is in effect until Sunday, September 3rd.
Orange meteoalarm, which presents dangerous weather conditions, is in force in Backa, Srem, Western Serbia, Sumadija and southwestern Serbia and will spread tomorrow.
The orange meteoalarm will spread to Banat, Belgrade and southeast Serbia.
Hazardous weather events can occur in parts of Serbia where the alarm is in force, which can cause material damage and can be dangerous for people and animals.
