Dragana's friend in tears presented a new version of tragedy on the rails: Zeljko said "If I die, we better die together", and took her to death!

The news that the boy and girl jumped under a train 20 minutes after midnight in Straza near Loznica, echoed through Serbia. Initially, information emerged that a couple jumped together on the rails, and then a freight train on the Ruma-Brasina railway line killed Dragana Vasic (25) from Straza and that Zeljko Lazarevic (24) from Novo Selo was severely injured, while the girl K.M. (16) suffered minor injuries. However, there are indications that this was not all that happened, as her close friend talked to Telegraf about that, choking in tears.

Serbia in shock: Dragana and Zeljko jumped under a train while holding hands. She died on the spot and doctors are fighting for his life!

Dragan's close friend, who knew the unfortunate girl all of his life, tells Telegraf that the two of them grew up together and that they were very good friends. Dragana and Zeljko were in a relationship for two years, and he knew about it. They constantly quarreled and argued, and he advised her to leave him. 

He told us that Dragana and Zeljko most certainly did not hold hands and went to death together, but he heard a more horrible version of the accident from an eyewitness:

- Dragana wrote to me last night on Facebook, but I didn't see the message on time. When I wanted to respond, she has already gone to meet Zeljko. 

- Her niece (16) was with them, a daughter of her sister. They went to the fence near the railway, there was a large company there. They were hanging out, talking, drinking... Dragana and Zeljko started fighting at one moment. The girl was with them the whole time -  the young man started his story for Telegraf.

As he said, they told him the horrible version of the story.

THEY WERE DRINKING, AND THEN THEY GOT INTO FIGHT. HE STOOD ON THE RAILWAY AND SCREAMED ONE SENTENCE 

- They got into a fight, and then Zeljko started screaming how he won't live without her. They say he just stood in the middle of rails, he didn't want to move. She begged him with her niece to calm down, to get out of there, to come to talk. He screamed "If I am dying, let's die together" - and he didn't want to let her go, and he took her to death. He made it - said this young man through tears.

He doesn't want to accuse anyone, as he said, but this is the version of the story eyewitnesses told him, as he claims, the train driver as well who immediately called the police and told what happened.

Dragana and Zeljko were in a relationship for full two years, and it was often stopped due to continuous fighting and arguing.

- I told her to leave him, that she doesn't need that, why is she getting back together with him. She obviously couldn't do it, I don't know. When they got back together the last time, she didn't tell me - said Dragana's friend.

As he said, he can't believe what happened. He can't make peace with the terrible tragedy.

- I was out in the city, I heard it in the taxi when I was coming home early this morning. I couldn't believe it. I went to her parents, they were mute, no one can't get a hold of themselves. I can't be sure that all of this is true, but Dragana didn't kill herself, I guarantee it! - said the shaken young man.

THE GIRL WAS SCREAMING TO GET AWAY FROM THE RAILS 

They say that the train driver saw how a boy and a girl were "pushing" each other, and he tried to break, but it was impossible, said this young man.

- Dragana would never hurt a fly. She was gorgeous, happy girl. There are no chances that she killed herself, she would never do that. He took her to death and was that a murder or he wanted to end their both lives, I can't tell, I wasn't there. But I can't believe it. We were so close together, we grew up together, she was one of my closest friends - concludes Dragana's friend.

The girl (16) was struck by the train from the side in the head while it was going by because she was screaming and shouting at them to move because the train is coming. She got just a few bandages on her face, they say it's nothing to worry about. 

Zeljko is in a serious situation in the intensive care in Loznica and they are fighting for their life.
