Serb woman injured in terrorist attack in Barcelona!

One Serbian citizen was injured in a terrorist attack that took place last night in Barcelona, the Foreign Ministry confirmed.

In the terrorist attack that took place in Barcelona yesterday, one citizen of the Republic of Serbia suffered injuries in the form of cuts and after the medical assistance was released from the hospital, according to a statement and current knowledge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Madrid.

Representatives of a number of travel agencies from the Republic of Serbia informed the Embassy that Serbian tourists, who were visiting Barcelona yesterday, are safe.

The Embassy of Serbia in Madrid is in direct contact with the competent authorities of the Kingdom of Spain and expect official information whether there are more citizens of the Republic of Serbia among the victims.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain has informed the Embassy of Serbia in Madrid that a coordination mechanism has been established with other Spanish departments in order to provide all relevant information about the victims to the foreign embassies as soon as possible.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia advises all citizens of the Republic of Serbia who currently reside in Spain to comply with the instructions of the competent Spanish police authorities and tour operators, as well as to regularly monitor information in the media.
